Whilst a variety of music plays, from jazz, to electronic and classical, use your intuition to practice markmaking and become familiar with textural surface qualities playfully, using a range of brushes and tools.
Throughout the day you will create 4-6 paintings using acrylic paint on high quality paper. You will explore colour; mixing hues and tones to create mood, light and atmosphere.
References to works by JMW Turner, Kandinsky and Paul Klee, to name a few, will be made to demonstrate key learning points and help make sense of abstraction.
