Wildlife and Colour: Photography Workshop for 12-16 year olds

This outdoor photography workshop is a perfect opportunity to learn how to capture the beautiful spring colour in Scotney's garden.

  • Booking essential

This workshop will focus on capturing the amazing wildlife and colour around Scotney Castle. From the buzzing bees and colourful butterflies to the quick moving squirrels, ducks and geese, participants will have a range of wonderful subjects to photograph.

Participants will learn how to use focus, focal distance, shutter speed and the burst setting to capture the wildlife in their surroundings sharply. Compare using the camera's zoom vs using your feet to get closer (if possible), where to stand when taking wildlife photos and how to use the backgrounds behind the amazing wildlife creatively.

Participants will finish the workshops with a super set of wildlife images showing off their new skillset.
