Sgwrs : Dinefwr as a National Nature Reserve

Dinefwr Park is the only parkland National Nature Reserve (NNR) in Wales. It was designated as such in 2007. Visitors can explore over 300 trees that are at least 400 years old, along with ancient pastureland and beautifully landscaped valley views.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

A true microcosm of Welsh heritage and natural history, Dinefwr is dramatically beautiful, historically important and environmentally significant. Come and explore our extensive list of designations, and what they really mean for us. What it is that gives us this status, how we protect it, encourage it, and ensure it's future. Join Countryside Manager, Dai, who will talk you through all of the magic that makes Dinefwr what it is.
