- Booking not needed
- Free event
Join in with activities, such as guided litter picks along the beach and the dunes, which contribute towards caring for the Strand, so that more people can enjoy their visits.
Our rangers will be leading the guided nature walk at 12 midday and a climate change walk at 1pm.
Enjoy inclusive activities for all the family, including volleyball, scavenger hunts and sensory table fun, courtesy of our partner Mae Murray Foundation.
And why not sample some of the experiences offered by our beach partners? Between 12 midday and 2pm, tasting sessions will be provided by ‘Sauna and Sea’ and Sub6 will be showcasing all abilities surfing.
For beach wheelchairs and all abilities surfing please contact Mae Murray Foundation at https://www.maemurrayfoundation.org/
You might be inspired to take up volunteering on a more regular basis.
Suitable clothing is advised – including sensible footwear and weather-appropriate clothing, as well as swimwear if you’d like to join in some of the taster sessions.
Litter pickers and bin bags will be provided.
