The Secret Diary of Henry VIII
Get ready for outdoor theatre fun and learn how to keep your head in the Tudor Court (whilst others around you are losing theirs). Enjoy a mad-cap take on the astonishing life of King Henry VIII as the Three Inch Fools return to Speke Hall.
- Booking essential
The Three Inch Fools present Britain’s most infamous monarch. The troupe of four join us this summer with a brand new production of kings, courtship and calamity… the Tudor way.
Unexpectedly thrust into the limelight after the death of his older brother, little Henry must learn to navigate the ups and downs of courtly life, and all whilst fighting the French and re-writing religion. Henry can’t catch a break, as he struggles to find the right wife and his ultimate dream of having a son seems out of reach.
