The story revolves around two charming gondoliers, Marco and Giuseppe, who suddenly find themselves elevated to the status of royalty. Tasked with choosing their queen from a bevy of beautiful women, hilarity ensues as the true identity of the rightful queen becomes entangled.

With catchy melodies and witty lyrics, Illyria brings the vivacious characters to life, captivating audiences with their impeccable comedic timing and exuberant performances. The gate to the garden will open an hour before the performance.

What to bring and wear

Appropriate clothing for the weather. Low back chairs, blankets and a picnic.

Accessibility

The buggy can assist visitors who need help walking from the car park to the front of the house.

Other

The car park is located approximately 400 yards from the garden. Please bear this in mind when bringing heavy picnic boxes and chairs. Assistance dogs only. Hot and cold drinks and snacks available from Killerton Kitchen Cafe in the garden before the performance and during the interval. Picnics are encouraged, sorry no BBQs.
