Apple Day
Join the garden team to learn about the many apple varieties grown in the garden of Quarry Bank
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
This year we are hoping for a bountiful apple crop, which means we can celebrate with Apple Day!*
Join us in the Apprentice House Orchard to have a go at traditional apple bobbing, sample freshly pressed apple juice and enjoy some apple themed crafts.
*Please note that this event will only go ahead, if there are enough apples.
The apples from the gardens are harvested and sold at the donation table near the garden entrance, raising money which allows us to care for this special place. Please can we ask that visitors don't take home any windfall apples, and not to pick apples from the trees.
National Trust admission charges apply. Free entry for National Trust members.
