Family enjoying time together at Great Langdale campsite

Situated at the head of the majestic Great Langdale Valley and guarded by the dominating Langdale Pikes, this campsite is a dream come true for walkers and climbers.

Fell walking routes include Bowfell, Crinkle Crags, the Langdale Pikes and England's highest mountain, Scafell Pike. Raven Crag, Gimmer Crag and White Ghyll are just a few of the numerous rock climbing spots which line the valley floor, providing some of the most spectacular rock routes in the UK.

Gentler walks may lead you over Lingmoor into Little Langdale or eastwards along the valley floor into the wooded areas around the picturesque valley of Elterwater.
